It’s Roy Batherson’s 75th Birthday today! Most know him from his stage name, Matt Minglewood. He’s been rocking his brand of East Coast Rock and Roll for nearly six decades, and a member of the Nova Scotia Music Hall of Fame.
The Minglewood Band playing at the Yarmouth Arena would be my first ever concert, way back in 1979 or 1980. And without question, he helped shape the “East Coast Sound”, as far as Rock & Roll goes.
