A number of ER closures at two hospitals in the Tri-Counties are being reported.
Nova Scotia Health says Digby Hospital’s emergency department will be closed from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
They say it’s due to a lack of nursing coverage.
Meanwhile Roseway Hospital’s Emergency department closed at 7 a.m. today and will reopen at 7 p.m. tomorrow night.
That closure is due to unavailability of a physician.
Anyone with an urgent medical need is asked to call 911, for general health advice from a registered nurse, call 811.
