Here we are – day 365 of 2021. It’s been a challenging year, in some ways even more than 2020 was. Time to say buh-bye and look to 2022.
Are you making a New Year Resolution? If you are you are actually in the minority – only 1 in 7 Canadians do. I usually don’t, but this year I am. I really need to get back into an exercise routine and I plan to try.
I’ve read that it takes at least 2 months to form a habit that will last, and most New Years Resolutions are about either making or breaking a habit. There’s a day coming up on January 12th – that’s right, only 12 days in – that’s officially called “Quitters Day”, the day where most people have given up their Resolution. But regardless, it’s good to at least try.
Start small with small goals and build from there. I always find that approach always works better.
