A 42 year old man from Shelburne County was arrested after a threats complaint in Lockeport on Tuesday.
Just after 3 p.m, RCMP were called to a store on Highway 3, and determined two men were arguing.
One man said he was going to come back with a gun and shoot the other man.
Two hours later, RCMP found the man’s car and pulled it over.
He then jumped out with a firearm in his hand, and after some negotiation, the man dropped the weapon, which was later determined to be an imitation firearm.
The man was taken into custody, he’s charged with uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He’ll appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court next month.
