It was the 4th of October 1967 when it happened. A UFO sighting, perhaps a crash. It still excites the imagination to this day, and you can find out more about it this weekend!
The Shag Harbour UFO “After the Crash Tour” is this Saturday and Sunday. At the UFO Interpretive Centre there will be a continuous showing of the Celine and Fabien Cousteau documentary of the Incident. The tour on Saturday leaves at 10 am, heads to the shoreline nearest the alleged UFO impact site with eyewitness and expert testimony. From there they head to Daniel’s Head Beach where another sighting happened in 2018.
On Sunday at 10 am the participants head to the NORAD Radar Facility, and from there to Government Point, the site of the former CFB Shelburne. Some call Government Point Canada’s most secret base.
There’s going to be a Trivia Night on Saturday at 7 at the Interpretive Centre.
