A 31 year old man from Digby County was charged with stunting near Yarmouth last week.
Late in the afternoon on Friday, RCMP registered a car going 146 km/h heading west on Highway 101.
Police say the driver accelerated after the officer engaged emergency equipment.
The member then contacted a Yarmouth town officer who was further down the highway, to attempt to stop the vehicle.
The second officer observed the driver going as high as 205 km/h, and the driver once again did not stop for police, and passed other motorists unsafely while oncoming vehicles approached.
The suspect vehicle eventually ran out of gas, and came to a stop further down the highway.
The driver was issued several tickets, including stunting, failing to stop for police, and passing when unsafe.
His vehicle and license was seized for seven days.
