Closures And Detours For Parade Street

The Town of Yarmouth is advising residents of a the following street closures and detours in the area of Parade Street.

• Beginning either September 15th or 16th the Pleasant Street and Parade Street Intersection will be shutdown for a period of 3 weeks. A firm date will be provided next week.
• Parade Street between Clements Avenue and Th’Yarc will be closed to local traffic only.
• Pleasant Street between Cliff Street and Parade Street will be closed to local traffic only.
• Pleasant Street between Porter Street and Parade Street will be closed to local traffic only.
• Parade Street between School Street and Pleasant Street will remain closed.
• Large commercial traffic is advised to use Forest Street to enter the Downtown core.
• Collins Street and Seminary Street will continue to serve as two-way streets until further notice.

The town says they are continuing work on Parade Street’s green infrastructure project. In a release,  they say they’re heading towards the final stages of work.
