If you tuned in yesterday you probably hear be talk about a strange video that a listener sent me. It’s of a huge cyclone looking cloud that sort of resembles a tornado except it’s not spinning. You can find the video on our Facebook page but here is a screen grab of the clouds! A big thanks again to Mason Leblanc for sending the video in.

I’m still not equally sure what it was but most people seem to think that it was not a tornado, which makes sense. Those are quite rare. A lot of people thought that it might be either an optical illusion or a funnel cloud. Who knows!
It got me thinking though. Living in Nova Scotia, we can sometimes see some very strange weather. I’ve seen random hail storms in the middle of a spring day or snow in early May! Living in what they call the “Bandanna Belt” can certainly have it’s advantages and disadvantages. I’d say the crazy weather can sometimes be a major disadvantage! What’s the weirdest weather you’ve seen? Do you have any pictures? Send them my way!
