Halifax District RCMP are investigating following a shooting on Downey Road in North Preston.
Around 2:07 p.m., today, police responded to a report of a shooting on Downey Street and learned that a black Subaru Imprezza had been shot numerous times by another vehicle.
There were a number of occupants in the Imprezza, none were injured The vehicle suffered damage from the gunshots.
The suspected vehicle fled the scene and is reported to also have been occupied by a number of people.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Halifax Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit with support from the RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
