The three main party leaders will continue to pound the pavement as the provincial election campaign hits Day 18.
Liberal Leader Iain Rankin is in Halifax where he’s set to release the party’s Environment Platform at Long Lake Provincial Park at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Rankin will then campaign in Sackville-Cobequid.
NDP Leader Gary Burrill is scheduled to make an affordable housing announcement at Burton Ettinger Elementary School Playground in Fairview at 10 a.m.
PC Leader Tim Houston is holding a media availability at 10 a.m. at the Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex in Brookfield.
He’ll also campaign with candidates in Sackville-Uniacke, Hants West, and Kings West.
Over the long weekend, Houston promised to increase support for long-term care workers.
The Liberals released a $78 million skills-training platform to help the Nova Scotia Community College train people for jobs in several industries.
The NDP continued to commit to its plan to ensure workers in the province have 10 paid sick days.
Rankin and Burrill both toured Southwestern Nova Scotia on Monday.
