Provincial party leaders are closing the second week of the election campaign with a focus on mental health and affordable living.
NDP Leader Gary Burrill is set to make an announcement on mental health care in Halifax Armdale at 10 a.m. on Friday with local candidate Julie Melanson.
That’s an area of health care all three main parties have said must be improved.
Meantime, Liberal Leader Iain Rankin will cast his ballot at 9 a.m. and then make an affordability announcement in Bedford at 1 p.m.
Tory Leader Tim Houston is holding a media availability at 10 a.m. before pounding the pavement with candidates in Kings South, Digby-Annapolis, and Clare.
