Rock bands are not as popular as they once were. It used to be that every big musical act was a rock band, but these days rock bands or even bands in general are a rarity! There are however a few that that have popped up over the years that might just be considered “Classic Rock Bands.” I put that in quotations because there has always been people who play rock music, but some bands have a more classic rock feel than others or sound more like bands from back in the good old days of rock music! Check out a few of these bands if you like classic rock!
So those are a few examples of more modern bands that sound a lot like classic rock bands! Kind of cool hey? You might have heard some of them or most of them but recently I started listening to the Greta Van Fleet band.
That’s the last video in the list. They have been getting a lot of flack for sounding like and “copying” Led Zeppelin. I find that a little unfair. They could be very much inspired by that band but it is unique material. I just love to hear classic rock bands still playing music today and writing brand new songs! What do you think?
