Every 60 seconds in Canada, someone needs blood. That means that there’s a constant need for donors.
This is the week for Canadian Blood Services to be in the Tri Counties. Yesterday they were in Barrington, today and tomorrow in Yarmouth and Thursday in Clare. And there is always a need for donors.
Deborah MacGillivary, Territory Manager for Canadian Blood Services says they need donors to fill a lot of appointments on Wednesday especially.
“We’re at the Rodd Grand Hotel. We have about 50 appointments that are available. We encourage everyone to download the ‘Give Blood’ app, visit blood.ca or call 1-888-2DONATE to make an appointment.”
