They call her Nova Scotia’s sailing ambassirtor and that is so true! The Bluenose is such an important and strong symbol of Nova Scotia and of Canada. The schooner has for years represented the strength, determination and grace of Nova Scotians. I look forward to seeing her every Summer.
As you probably know, the Bluenose 2 is on the move and is making stops in all sorts of different communities this Summer! Here is it’s schedule for the rest of July!

I got that from the offical Bluenose II website! You can also find all sorts of info about the boat itself and this really cool live tracker! Check it out HERE!
The only thing I don’t like about the Bluenose is it seems like it’s not docking at as many stops as usual! I remember as a kid you could actually go on the boat and even pay for a ride when it came to a harbor near you! I suppose because of COVID this might be a bit more tricky! Hopefully next year we’ll be able to explore the boat more. Regardless, to me the Bluenose II is a comforting sight and it’s presence in Nova Scotia makes me proud of our province and the things we’ve been able to get through together!
What do you think of the Bluenose? Are you a fan? Will you be checking it out when it come by your neck of the woods?
