So here we are in Phase 1 of Nova Scotia’s reopening, and looking forward to Phase 2, starting on Wednesday (fingers crossed) (toes too).
But what does that mean exactly?
I work better when I have a visual in front of me. The Halifax Chamber of Commerce came up with a great one:

This explains what is allowed as the province opens up, and on the side what criteria has to be met in order to meet it.
For example, Wednesday is the 16th. In order to hit Phase 2 targets, vaccinations must hit 60% of the population with one dose one dose, and cases & hospitalizations continue to decrease.
There’s a site online where you can track Vaccinations in Nova Scotia and you can find that info HERE.
Currently (as of Sunday June 13th) we have vaccinated 64.4% of the population with a first dose. We only have 4.9% of the population fully vaccinated, but that number should start rising quickly fairly soon.
As of now, this is how the Phases will be brought in.
