A small change to a transit route as work on the Streetscape Project on Main Street continues.
The Transit stop at Alma Square has been moved to the corner of Alma and First Street.
The change was made today as crews begin demolition work at Alma Square and Main Street.
The bus has also amended its route. A map with the changes is below. The Town says these changes will be in place until further notice.
There’s other work taking place on Main Street. Work on the bump-outs at the Main Street intersections of Jenkins Street and Central Street is ongoing. Both of those streets are open.
Meanwhile crews are doing work at the Main Street intersection of Lovitt Street, which is closed.
