Multiple fire departments have attended to a forest fire between Argyle and Pubnico.
The Eel Brook, West Pubnico and East Pubnico fire departments responded to the fire on Highway 103 and closed the section of the road around kilometer 33.
Eel Brook fire chief Jonathan LeBlanc says that the fire was behaving erratically when crews arrived.
However, thanks to rising humidity and rain, crews were able to contain the fire.
LeBlanc says that the rain is finishing the fire off.
No injuries have been reported. Exit’s 32 and 33 on Highway 103 were closed but have since reopened.
