The emergency department at Roseway Hospital in Shelburne will be temporary closed on Thursday.
Emergency services will be unavailable starting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and lasting until 8 a.m. on Friday morning.
The Nova Scotia health Authority states it’s due to a lack of physician coverage.
Anyone living in the area with an emergency should dial 911 or in non-emergency situations can speak to a registered nurse by dialling 811 for general health advice.
