
The Town of Yarmouth will be holding three public hearings this week.
The first hearing will be on repealing the Curfew Bylaw which prevents people under the age of 14 to be on a street, sidewalk, restaurant, dance hall or
place of amusement in the Town of Yarmouth, between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
There will also be a hearing to repeal the Officer’s Bylaw which outlines a number of positions which no longer exist.
The third hearing will be to discuss the sale of the South Centennial School at 20 Forbes Street to the Boys & Girls Club. Their proposal will be revealed at the hearing.
The public hearings will take place on Thursday. Speakers will be required to wear masks and register to speak on the town website by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
