The Town of Yarmouth will be doing preparatory work for the streetscape of Main Street tomorrow.
The work is being done to prepare for concrete demolition that will begin next Tuesday, April 6th.
The prep work will take place at the intersection of Main Street and Central Street.
Central Street between Hawthorne Street and Main Street will be for local traffic only.
Small sections of the west sidewalk on Main Street heading north and south towards the Central Street intersection will be closed.
The North-South crosswalk at the top of Central Street will also be closed, as well as the East-West crosswalk from the Central Street bump out to Alma Square.
The town says this will involve cutting concrete which will generate noise.
