
A sizeable outage has left a large number of people in the Tri-county without power.
Nova Scotia Power is reporting an outage in the area between Yarmouth and Carleton, going as far north as Hectanooga.
They say that high winds are the cause.
1,335 customers have reportedly been affected. Power is expected to be restored around 7 p.m. tonight.
Environment Canada reports that there are high winds in the area that will taper off overnight.
