A woman is dead and a man was injured after a collision near Digby.
At 2:45 a.m. yesterday, RCMP were called to a single vehicle crash on Hwy 217 in Roxville.
They found a pickup which had struck a power pole.
The passenger, a 32 year-old woman from Waldeck, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police say the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Fire and EHS were also on scene, as well as a collision re-constructionist.
Highway 217 was closed at Culloden in Roxville in both directions, but is now open.
