A 57-year-old has been charged for violating the Nova Scotia Health Protection Act.
New Glasgow Regional Police say the woman failed to self-isolate for 14 days after arriving in the province.
Police say on Saturday morning they received a complaint about a female who was not self-isolating.
NGR Police immediately responded to a business parking lot on Westville Road, where an adult female who entered Nova Scotia from Alberta, failed to quarantine.
The 57-year-old was charged under Section 71 for failing to comply with regulations.
New Glasgow Regional Police say individuals who do not follow the directives are putting health and safety at risk.
