
A man in Clam Point has been charged with a number of drug offences after police investigated a break and enter at his home.
Barrington RCMP responded to the call of a Break and Enter at a home on Stoney Island Rd. in Clam Point on February 14. During their investigation they found a significant quantity of cannabis growing in the basement.
Police returned to the home with a warrant three days later and arrested 29 year-old Troy Duncan Waybret. The Shelburne Street Crime Enforcement Unit assisted Barrington RCMP.
Police seized cocaine, psilocybin, a Taser, 59 marihuana plants, processed cannabis, shatter, other cannabis products, drug paraphernalia and cash.
The charges laid against Waybret include:
– Possession of Cocaine
– Possession of a Psilocybin
– Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
– Distribution of Illicit Cannabis
– Possession of Illicit Cannabis
– Possession of Illicit Cannabis for the Purpose of Distribution
– Possession of More than Four Cannabis Plants
– Cultivating, Propagating or Harvesting more than Four Cannabis Plants
– Altering the Properties of Cannabis by Use of Organic Solvent
– Three counts of Failure to Comply with Probation Order.
Police say that they are still investigating the break and enter at the home. A suspect vehicle, a black truck, was seen leaving the home.
