NSHA will be doing pop-up rapid testing for COVID-19 at a site in New Minas this weekend.
The site is at the New Minas Fire Department at 6 Jones Road. Testing on Saturday will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Testing on Sunday will take place from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
To be tested you must meet the following criteria:
- be at least 16 years old
- do not have COVID-19 symptoms
- have not travelled
- have not visited a potential exposure location. A list of COVID-19 exposure locations can be found here
- have not been in contact with someone who has tested positive
- are not currently in quarantine
NSHA is asking people to wear a mask and social distance at the site. Anyone that does have symptoms of COVID-19 and is seeking a test is asked to self isolate and and complete the online self-assessment.
