The Mariner’s Centre Expansion Steering committee has weighed in on the bridge subcommittees recommendation to restart aquatic services at 275 Main Street in Yarmouth.
The committee met yesterday to vote on the motion brought by the bridge subcommittee earlier this week and voted unanimously to go forward with 275 main street, the site of the former YMCA.
It is now up to the Municipalities of the District of Yarmouth and Argyle and the Town of Yarmouth to ratify the motion.
Questions were raised after the vote about the costs and funds that have been raised.
It will be up to the bridge subcommittee to answer those questions.
