The province has released more details about the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
The first community-based clinic for Nova Scotians age 80 and older is slated for Monday, February 22nd in Halifax.
It’s being used as a prototype to inform how future clinics are set up.
Eligible Nova Scotians will be identified by MSI and contacted directly.
The province says age will become the primary factor with the initial rollout.
After those 80 and older receive their vaccine, the next group will be people 75- to 79-years-old, and vaccinations will continue in declining five-year age blocks until all Nova Scotians receive their vaccine.
