The Yarmouth Professional Firefighters Association is giving back to the community.
They’ve raised $9,831 to support Yarmouth Elementary’s breakfast program.
President Lynn Seeley talked about why they chose to help out.
“I think that’s our foundation, the kids,” said Seeley “I understand that in most schools the breakfast programs or meal programs are suffering somewhat due to funding issues or whatever, so that was our first choice.
Seeley and other members from the association presented the cheque to the school today.
The money was raised through a raffle box 50/50 draw.
