RCMP say they’re hoping to issue an update on the search for the Chief William Saulis on Tuesday.
The scallop dragger and most of its crew have been missing since the vessel went down early on the morning of December 15th.
The Mounties say there’s nothing of significance to report prior to yesterday.
The search for the five men and the vessel has been consistently hampered by poor weather and sea state.
The majority of the search has been done via helicopter.
On December 28th, the search turned up a piece of debris that police noted is consistent with a small part of the vessel.
Police said at the time that they would partner with the Transportation Safety Board to see if it’s a match.
