RCMP shared this photo of Zack Lefave, who has been missing since early on January 1st. The image includes the shirt he was known to be wearing at the time of his disappearance.
Members of the community have taken it upon themselves to search for 21 year old Zachery Lefave of Hebron after the Ground Search and Rescue teams suspended their search yesterday.
The group planned to set out today. A check-in sheet and waiver have been posted to a Facebook group dedicated to searching for Lefave. The group plans to meet at a command center at a residence on Robert Boudreau Crescent. The command centre includes sheds, an 18 wheeler trailer and a large dirt parking lot.
The command centre was expected to be open by 8:00 AM although searches were not expected to start until at least 9:00 AM.
The volunteers will be separated into groups and assigned to a specific search plot. They will keep in contact with each other. There’s more information on the groups Facebook page.
Lefave was last seen walking on Hwy. 334 in Plymouth on January first at approximately 12:30 a.m.
He is described as white, 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, with brown fair, facial hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a hat, plaid shirt and shorts.
The RCMP say that their investigation is ongoing and that there is no indication of criminality at this time.
