Like so many of us, Argyle-Barrington MLA Colton LeBlanc is ready to leave 2020 behind.
The PC representative says he’s looking forward to expanding on a number of files and issues in the new year.
Provincially, LeBlanc says he’ll continue to push for improvements in health care, particularly primary care.
At the local level, he says the construction of a new school in Wedgeport and improvements to Exit 32 in the Argyle/Glenwood area are still high on his priority list.
“Continuing to push for that to be addressed,” he noted, “During this year’s budget estimates it was confirmed by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal that it would be included in the five-year plan. We haven’t seen the five-year plan yet, optimistic that it will be included at some point.”
He noted that the pandemic afforded the party a chance to put forth solutions for the future.
“2020 and particularly the COVID-19 pandemic has identified many gaps within our society, whether it be within our health care system and access to primary care.”
LeBlanc says he’s looking forward to a new year with more positivity, optimism, and normalcy.
