RCMP say they’re teaming up with Department of Lands and Forestry to resume their search for five fishermen missing in the Bay of Fundy for more than a week.
The captain and crew of the Chief Williams Saulis scallop dragger were lost last Tuesday when their boat when down in poor weather off the coast of Delaps Cove.
RCMP suspended all searching on Tuesday due to unfavourable conditions.
Wednesday’s search will be done by helicopter.
The Mounties say the intention is to search the coastline from Digby Gut to Harbourville.
The RCMP Underwater Recovery Team is unable to participate due to poor conditions.
