Yarmouth Town RCMP say they’ve fined a Quebec woman for violating the Health Protection Act (HPA).
Police say they were contacted by a local business on Wednesday, informing police of the belief the woman was visiting the area from Quebec and failed to self isolate the required 14 days.
RCMP say an investigation determined that the woman arrived in the area on November 16th.
She was issued a summary offence ticket that carries a $1000 fine.
