We were all sad to hear of the passing of Alex Trebek. This happened last weekend and though he was very sick it was still a shock. As I said in an earlier blog Alex started hosting Jeopardy back in 1984 and touched many people’s lives over the years. As his many fans mourn his passing there is however one question that many people are asking. Who will be the next host to continue the show’s legacy?
Jeopardy will obviously continue and though it won’t be the same without Alext hopefully they can find a host that will put their own personal spin to the show. Apparently there are alot of name being thrown around and rumors of who will be the next host! Check out the list below!

Another name that does not appear on that list is Betty White. Alex had joked about being replaced by her many times but I think she might be a little too “in retirement” if you know what I mean. Another name I have heard is Anderson Cooper who would be another great host in my opinion. Alex Trebek had also mentioned that he might want Ken Jennings who is the top player of all time and a producer on the show! a Vox poll however says that 50 present of all those polled could not imagine watching the show without Alex so we’ll have to see!
