Municipal election voting opens in both the Town and Municipality of the District of Yarmouth on Thursday, October 8th.
Voters who received their voter letter in the Municipality can vote by calling via cell phone or landline, by voting online, or visiting a voter assistance kiosk.
It’s similar in the Town of Yarmouth – e-voting opens at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 7 p.m. on October 17th.
Electors can use a computer, tablet or telephone to cast their ballot.
Both The Municipality of the District of Argyle and the Municipality of the District of Shelburne opened voting on Monday.
Argyle has been sharing daily updates on participation rates on social media.
In the Municipality of Shelburne, there are races in Districts 4 and 7, with all other districts acclaimed.
Voters in the Town of Shelburne can begin casting e-votes at noon on Thursday.
A voting kiosk will be in place at Shelburne town hall from 10 until 2 on Thursday and other select dates for those who may need assistance.
In the Town of Clark’s Harbour, in-person advance polling is being held Thursday, October 8th and Monday, October 13th from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion on Kenney Street.
The Legion will be open for voting on election day October 17th from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
In the Municipality of Barrington, two options for advance paper ballots.
The first is Saturday, October 10th from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. at :
Shag Harbour Community Center, Shag Harbour
Island and Barrington Fire Hall, Centreville
Municipal Administrative Centre, Barrington
The second opportunity is on Tuesday, October 13th from noon until 8:00 p.m. at the Municipal Administrative Centre in Barrington.

In the Municipality of Digby, Advance polling begins at 9:00 a.m.
Four of five districts are acclaimed, with a race in District 5 between Terry MacBurnie and George Manzer.
Voting there is being administered by a combination of evoting and paper ballots.
In the Town of Digby, evoting also begins on Thursday.
The town issued a release earlier this week to clarify the proper phone number for e-voting.
It is: 1-877-495-0613.
In-person advance polling is being held Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. , and again on October 13th through the 16th at Town Hall.
Polling day will see Town Hall open for voters from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
In the Municipality of Clare, a combination of e-voting and paper ballots will be available, though paper ballots are reserved for election day only.
Five of eight districts are acclaimed.
There are races in District 1, District 3, and District 6.
CSAP candidates are also on the ballot.
