There are no new cases of COVID-19 in the province to report today. There are currently two active cases.
The last new cases (two) were identified on August 1st and are travel-related. The individuals are self-isolating.
There are now 10 active cases within the Atlantic travel bubble.
New Brunswick reported no new cases of COVID-19 and two active cases, both in the Fredericton region, and Newfoundland and Labrador reported no new cases of COVID-19 and four active cases.
PEI has no active cases.
There has also been a warning issued about a potential exposure to COVID-19 on July 31 between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Maritime Muslim Academy playground, 6225 Chebucto Road in Halifax.
CORRECTION: The NSHA released a statement this afternoon saying they had made an error on which playground was affected. The potential exposure was at the Chebucto Road HRM Park located at 6235 Chebucto Road NOT at the Maritime Muslim Academy.
