Plymouth’s Blake Newell has made the roster for the Nova Scotia U15 Core Baseball team.
The 13 year old 3rd baseman and pitcher is the youngest player on the roster and also plays for the Yarmouth Bantam AA Gateways.
He was a member of team Nova Scotia at last year’s U13 Nationals in Quebec and was a member of the Yarmouth Chris Scott Construction Peewee AAA Gateways who won the Gold Medal at last year’s U13 National Atlantic Baseball Championships in Dartmouth.
He was also a member of the South Shore Major Bantam Lumberjacks hockey team this season.
