A former Yarmouth man is no longer facing any charges related to a shooting incident in Hebron in March 2019.
Y95 News has learned that four charges laid against 39 year old Ian Huskins in March 2019, including Attempted Murder With A Firearm, were withdrawn by the Crown.
There’s no word from the provincial court on when or why those charges were withdrawn.
Huskins was one of two people charged after a 34 year old man was allegedly shot on March 26th of last year.
The other accused was never named by police.
Huskins is currently on remand following his arrest earlier this month.
He faces a number of charges related to the July 2nd incident, including possession of stolen vehicle, and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
He’s scheduled to return to Dartmouth provincial court on July 27th.
