This weekend I went for a hike on a very cool island in Shelburne County! Like many islands in the Tri Counties this one had an old beautiful lighthouse! We are lucky to have so many! There is something about a lighthouse that just kind of makes people happy I think! I know they make me happy!  When I was doing the Summer cruiser job I had the fabulous opportunity to visit many lighthouses throughout the three counties and I decided to make a top 5 list of my favorite light houses!

#5 -Point Prim Lighthouse-Digby

#4- Gilbert Cove Lighthouse- Digby

#3- Sandy Point Lighthouse- Shelburne

#2- Cape Roseway Lighthouse- Shelburne

#1- Cape Forchu Light Station- Yarmouth
