
Halifax Police say shooting in Halifax on Canada Day left one man dead and two other people with life-threatening injuries.
Police say they responded a report of possible shots fired at a residence in the city’s west end around 10:45 Wednesday night.
When officers arrived they found a man with gunshot injuries outside, while an injured woman and dead man were found inside.
Police say they believe the three are known to one another.
The man and woman are in hospital.
Police are still on scene investigating and the streets in the immediate area are closed.
Details are scarce, though police say more information will be released once it’s available.
