The Meteghan RCMP and The Yarmouth/Clare Street Crime Enforcement Unit charged a 54-year-old man from Meteghan Centre following the search of a home on Highway 1 on Wednesday (June 17).
As part of an investigation into drug trafficking, police arrested the man during a traffic stop and during a subsequent search of the home, seized cocaine, scales, knives and cash.
Trebor Stevens Atwood was charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and was remanded into custody and was to appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court today (Friday).
