The Tri Counties have some of the most beautiful places in Canada! From lakes and rivers to waterfronts and mountains! Today let’s just focus on the waterfronts! Now before we get into this I just want to say that all three counties have beautiful waterfronts and they are all very cool in their own way. It all has to do with preference! What waterfront is the best? Out of the three counties what waterfront do you think is the nicest?
Now I am a little biased here, I am from Shelburne and I have to say my number one pick is the Shelburne waterfront on Dock Street! It is a pretty sheltered and deep harbour surrounded by 17th century houses and beautiful parks and trees. It almost feels like stepping back in time! Watching the sunset from Dock Street is incredible too! So, to me Shelburne waterfront takes the number one spot.
That’s not to say Yarmouth and Digby are not Gorgeous too! Cape Forsue probably has one of the best look off spots in the country. The small islands scattered around the harbour are cool too. Digby as well has some great views and of course has the whole tide thing going on there which is a huge attraction for people!
Now I know what you might be thinking. There are a ton of other great waterfronts in the Tri Counties like Tusket or Barrington. Yes! Ofcourse! For today let’s focus on the three main county capitals. So what do you think? Who has the best waterfront? Digby, Shelburne or Yarmouth and why? Let me know on our Facebook page or give me a call.
