Another day with no positive COVID-19 test results in Nova Scotia, keeping the total at 1061 cases.
With 739 tests completed yesterday, the province now has 47,726 negative results, 62 deaths, and there are still four active COVID-19 cases.
Two people remain in the hospital, one of them in the ICU, and 995 cases are listed as resolved.
Licensed child care centres and family daycare homes will re-open and visits can also resume as early as on Monday at long-term care homes and homes for persons with disabilities.
The province has also announced they will allow daycamps to re-open.
The camps will have strict guidelines to follow, which were released earlier today.
Chief medical officer of health Dr. Robert Strang said in a release that “”Every day camp that wants to reopen must have a plan in place to mitigate risks.”
The guidelines, which can be found on the Department of Health and Wellness’ web page, include increased cleaning, staggered pick up and drop off times
screening staff and campers, limiting group sizes to 10, and keeping the same groups of children together.
