
The province’s Chief Medial Officer of Health says the current measures in place to slow COVID-19 are working, but we are not out of the woods.
Dr. Robert Strang says this will be a many months-long process and we must remain vigilant.
Provincial officials announced an additional seven new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.
That brings our total across the province to 1,018.
Nova Scotia has 33,579 negative test results and 749 individuals have now recovered from COVID-19.
There are three licensed long-term care homes and unlicensed seniors’ facilities in Nova Scotia with active cases of COVID-19. Northwood in Halifax currently has 157 residents and 20 staff with active cases.
The province notes that there will be no briefing on Monday, though information will be updated via press release.
