The province has reported its third death due to COVID-19.
A male in his eighties passed away Sunday in the Halifax area due to complications related to the virus.
it is not known if the man had any underlying health issues, which had been present in the first two deaths.
As of today, Nova Scotia has 474 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 9 currently in hospital and 101 recovered cases.
Premier Stephen McNeil and Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health will provide an update today at 3 p.m.
