The Yarmouth town detachment of the RCMP is reminding the public that all Municipal Parks in Yarmouth are closed as well as the provincial and Federal Parks.
The town will be posting signs and police will be patrolling these parks on a regular basis.
They would also like to remind residents that driving around with more than one person in a vehicle is only acceptable if they are from the same household.
Police say they’ve been seeing vehicles being driven by mostly young adults that are full of passengers.
Driving with non-household members in the vehicle is a chargeable offence under the Health Protection Act.
