
According to the most recent numbers, Nova Scotia now has three confirmed cases and nine presumptive cases of COVID-19.
Five new cases were identified yesterday (Tuesday), four of which are travel-related and one is connected to an earlier case.
The 12 individuals affected range in age from early 30’s to mid-70’s and they are all in self-isolation and recovering at home.
The twelve total cases are located across most of the province, with Northern Nova Scotia being the only region without a positive case of COVID-19 at this time.
The province is testing daily, working the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg.
To date, Nova Scotia has 1,141 negative test results, nine presumptive positive cases and three confirmed cases.
