There were no injuries after fire damaged a home in Shelburne on Monday.
The Canadian Red Cross reports at least five people were displaced by the fire that occurred in a duplex on Athabaskan Street.
The cause is not known.
The family, including a couple and there three children, will be staying with relatives and are getting help from the Red Cross for emergency purchases including clothing and food.
The Red Cross had no information about the fire’s impact on occupants of the other side of the duplex.
But they say similar support will be offered if needed.
