A provincial byelection has been called for three electoral districts, including Argyle-Barrington for the beginning of September.
It will see a new MLA elected for the district, who will step in to replace former PC MLA Chris d’Entremont, who stepped down to run federally for the Conservatives in the West Nova riding.
As of August 3, two candidates are registered for the Argyle-Barrington district – Charlene LeBlanc of the Liberal party, and Colton LeBlanc of the Progressive Conservatives.
Registered, eligible voters in this area will receive a personalized Voter Information Card, which will outline the many ways they can vote.
The byelection will take place on Tuesday, September 3.
There will also be byelections held September 3 for the ridings of Northside-Westmount and Sydney River-Mira-Louisbourg in Cape Breton.
