The VON Tri-County is reminding you of a fundraiser coming up next Friday.
Program Coordinator Sandra Hubbard-LeBlanc tells us their Surf Or Turf event takes place in the tent behind Rudders.
“For $20, a choice of Nova Scotia steamed lobster or Emin’s rib eye steak, BBQ’ed with potatoes, salad, roll and dessert.”
The August 9 event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and all the money raised goes to support the VON Tri County’s various community support programs.
“Like adult day program, transportation program and caregiver support and education, which all directly impact people in our community.”
It’s recommended you get your tickets in advance by call the VON office at 902-742-4512, Ext 0.
You can pick them up at the office or have it arranged to pick them up at the event.
Connie Saulnier and the Moonlight Swing Band will provide the entertainment.
